Happy Birthday Shaker Card

My poor neglected blog!  I can't believe I haven't updated it since August 1st!!!! Well Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a lovely holiday season.

I have been busy creating lots of cards and hope to be better at posting more frequent updates.  In the meantime, here is a card that I taught in my class last week.  Shaker cards seem to be all the rage right now and I had so much fun making this one.  I think I am hooked and all the ladies seemed to have fun making this one too!!!  I started out with Stampin' Ups Celebrate Today stamps and die combo.  This set just screams to be made into a shaker card, lol!  I used Jennifer McGuires tutorial found here:  They are a lot of fun to make and really are very easy.  I was a little intimidated in the beginning, but like I said I think I am hooked and have lots more ideas for fun shaker cards!

Keeping this short and sweet and easing back into the blog slowly.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
